"Tesla On Fire" depicts a 2020s-era Tesla Model 3 set ablaze. In the lightbox animation, flames flicker and fume, thickening into acrid electronic smoke. The burning Tesla became an emblem of the decade, recurring across the protests of 2020 and later political spectacle orbiting Elon Musk. As coverage faded, it was easy to ask why the flames ever had to be extinguished. Could an image stay alight in perpetuity, an eternal flame? Its fireplace-like flicker reads as controlled warmth; a power switch lets the viewer toggle it on and off, sublimating rage into a safe, soothing alternative.
