In the dream state, the finger may pass through, breaking physicality and unlocking dream lucidity. The work reframes the technique as a sign, a visual companion that acts as reminder and potential dream cue. Inspired by dreams of artworks misattributed to others, it suggests a porous boundary between waking and dream states.
