"TANIA" enlarges and remasters an iconic 1974 image into an illuminated ‘living poster’ of politics, parody, and historical intrigue. It reframes the story of Patty Hearst, kidnapped by the Symbionese Liberation Army and recast as the militant "Tania", as a case study for networked persuasion. Hearst’s blank stare is replaced with the skull and glowing red eyes of ‘The Terminator’, satirizing how spectacle, fear, and online echo chambers condition behavior through the promise of belonging and being seen.
