Extended Vision
"Extended Vision" recreates Herbert Bayer's 1935 Diagram of Extended Vision, remade without its most iconic element. The sharply dressed figure is absent; the monumental all-seeing eye has been collapsed into a single pinpoint drishti. The animation is subtle, nearly imperceptible until the viewer's gaze rests long enough for the color-shifting field to ripple into view. Where Bayer sought clarity and universality, this work reflects the instability of attention.
